COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Junior
Sheilah Koskey (Eldoret, Kenya/Moi Forces Academy) was named to the RMAC Women's Corss Country Academic All-Conference honor roll team that was announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.
Koskey was named to the list last season, as well.
She opened her 2011 season competing in the UC-Riverside Invitational, which she followed that up with her top finish of the season at the Cowgirl Jamboree in Las Vegas, N.M. placing 33
rd.
Koskey, form Eldoret, Kenya, holds a 4.0 cumulative GPA and is majoring in nursing.
The RMAC recognized first and second teams, along with honor roll all-academic performers in the sport of cross country. To qualify for Academic All-RMAC, student-athletes must have a grade point average of 3.30 or better, be a starter or reserve, and completed two consecutive semesters or three quarters at their current institution. Their cumulative GPA is what they had earned prior to the cross country season beginning.
